After years of impressive results our client was operating within an increasingly competitive industry which had significantly moved on. The business needed a commercial and cultural lift.
That work started at the Partner’s meeting, galvanising Executive team to unite their teams behind a stretching ambition that would significantly increase the pace of growth by the end of 2020.
What made the difference?
Igniting the case for change. The business was not under imminent threat - having enjoyed a strong track record of commercial performance, with one key client. The critical challenge was how to step-change focus and pace in that context.
We designed immersive experiences that challenged leaders’ beliefs about where the business was at - and where it might end up in a rapidly changing market.
And we coached the exec team to facilitate in a way that pushed leaders to engage more honestly with each other. Together this sparked the breakthrough conversations needed to get them on the same page, and fired up to drive focused action back in the business.
Putting in place the structures to support the change. Specific attention to was also given to Shareholder agreements, inclusive of Buy and Sell Agreements and the related areas of financial risk verses reward were also positioned. This provided the opportunity for strategic financial planning into the future of the business and making the changes required at executive levels.
