The outsourcing negotiations successfully completed

A new company was formed as a result of business, financial and legal assistance in negotiations.

Our client’s need was to evaluate their corporate benefits and what these meant for each individual should they be faced with early retirement or retrenchment due to changes taking place within the group. 

Approach

We focussed on the benefits of their corporate fund generally and then met with individuals privately thereafter to establish their needs and understand how best to advise them on some key financial and lifestyle decisions which they needed to make.  Business advice was also provided to individuals who wanted to take packages and start their own businesses. One of our clients decided to take over a whole division which our client was wanting to outsource.  We assisted with proposal writing and the preparation of business plans.

Results

The outsourcing negotiations were successful and resulted in an independent company being formed and our new client successfully employing many of the staff within that division who were required to apply for their positions in the new company.  We installed a provident fund and continue to meet with the Director and shareholders on a regular basis with a succession plan in place. 

In addition to this we assisted in establishing the required business registrations and our legal associates handled documentation relating to agreements as well as personal estate planning and wills done in consultation with us and our legal team.
